We all start somewhere.

My name is Jeanine Muyumba, student, founder of Journey To

Change and my roots are in the Democratic Republic of Congo as

well as in Germany, where I was born and raised.

Before I started to deal intensively with the topic of starting a

business, I started 2019 with a blog on Instagram where I could

with others share the experiences which I have already gained

throughout life.

After some time, I decided to take a break from my Instagram blog,

as I was also pursuing other goals alongside my studies. Over the

course of time, I reached my personal limits, as I was also studying and

working at the same time. That's why I made the decision to focus for

some time on Journey To Change.

That's when I realized that I also need support in the form of a mentor

in order to implement all the ideas I had. After a short time, I found a

mentor who has accompanied me ever since on my journey to start

a business by teaching me the necessary things, as well as supporting

me throughout the ups and downs.

Around the same time, I also hired somebody to design the

logo for Journey To Change. The logo is carrying the four words assist,

connect, grow, and educate.

The beginning of the Instagram blog with the idea, mine already

accumulated experience on various topics, so small they

may be, wanting to share with others, was the birth of Journey

To Change.

By that time, I was writing blog posts published with the name Journey

To Change, without knowing what would become of it later.

In the same way, I had not thought that it would become the name

of my company.

Everyone has experiences in life which are also occurring in the

present and those experiences are shaping us humans individually.

I have had situations in my life where I wished that I had more

I would have wished for more expertise, knowledge, encouragement,

or even the sharing of experiences from others instead of (only)

getting negative feedback. I have learned from these situations,

made my experiences and now I know how to do things better and/or approach them differently.

The principle of self-help also applies, of course, by researching

certain topics by yourself, watching videos or documentaries, but

sometimes it is simply the case that this is not enough and everything

is just overwhelming.

Ans this is how the path of Journey To Change was paved.

If you have a certain goal (no matter which one it is for you)

and you want to achieve it, you will. There will be

hurdles on your way, but that's part of it, because we all start

we all start somewhere.

It's just up to you to take the first step.
